A Sanctuary of LOVE… Personalised pieces that stand for something
This review is near and dear to my heart because it’s about one of my favourite companies ❤
It’s not every day that you find a company that sells products that completely support who you are as a person and everything you stand and live for. And its certainly not every day that you become friends with the owner of that company and start to view them as a sister. But in My Love Sanctuary I found both 😁
I stumbled across this company in 2019 when I was looking for some apparel that featured a black woman on it, as well as some inspirational words that related to my faith. Let’s be honest those two requirements are often hard to come by 🤦🏾♀️ BUT My Love Sanctuary came through and restored my hope in clothing that would represent me, my husband and my children without compromising on my standards.
I initially bought one of their personalised mugs for my Mum and was so surprised at the way the designer was able to capture the picture I sent and make the mug look so realistic 😍 needless to say my mum absolutely loved it and as if receiving the amazing mug wasn’t enough, the owner of My Love Sanctuary also included a personalised cushion for my Mum as a free gift 🤯😭
Now I dont know about you, but I can honestly say that not all companies would do that! To show such a selfless act of kindness to a first time customer, really went above and beyond the usual service 
and without knowing it, in that very moment, that amazing gesture made me a customer for life – No I’m not just saying that…. I went on to buy several sweatshirts from My Love Sanctuary and even commissioned them to make a personalised sweatshirt for my Son as well as one for my husband’s birthday.
I’m a fierce believer in supporting a good business wholeheartedly and the love and service that I received from My Love Sanctuary evoked an unquestionable loyalty in me that will long continue. To top it off, with each of my orders I received a hand written note from the owner, which allowed me to get an insight into the heart behind the brand (and led to the blossoming of the friendship I spoke about at the beginning of this review🥰)
I think as a community, we have to be intentional with our coins and support businesses that value our custom. I’m pleased to say that My Love Sanctuary is one of those companies. A company that provides great products that suit Black men and women and portrays all of the melanin magic that we possess 🖤✊🏾 But it’s also a company run by someone who treats every single customer like family and goes out of her way to ensure their vision for what they are ordering, is achieved and realised.
Let’s be honest….. can you really ask for more from a company than that? No? Then you have to check them out right? 🤷🏾♀️
